We at Dowal School believe that Science and Technology are two of the most important learning fields in the student’s academic development. For that reason, we work diligently to inculcate in our students a commitment to search for truth and a desire to apply knowledge in their everyday lives. To accomplish this goal, the Coordination of Science promotes the ability for critical thought through the application of educational approaches such as demonstrations, laboratories, peer learning groups, structured discussions, and lectures. The Coordination makes every effort to teach students scientific knowledge that will enhance their understanding of living beings, the earth, and the universe.

The Science Laboratory plays a significant function in performing accurate experiments and reliable research under a controlled environment, essential for students to put into practice the theoretical knowledge they receive in the classroom. Dowal School has its own laboratory, which meets and exceeds the standards required for science education. Great efforts have been made to raise and maintain the quality of our science educational model, to the extent of investing important amounts of funds in acquiring the latest in technology of laboratory equipment and materials, choosing German science-pioneers PHYWE AG as our main provider. 

Through PHYWE products, the Coordination of Science looks forward to radically changing the way science has been taught through the years, engaging the students in a more interactive learning process in which emphasis will be given to hands-on projects and experiments, rather than focusing on memorization of theoretical concepts.
