  • Pamela Pinel was the first student to ever enroll at Dowal School.
  • Dowal School opened its first section of Elementary School -1st grade- with 12 students on September 1st, 1988.
  • The south section of the Elementary School building was completed and inaugurated on March of 1991. Three sections of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades, respectively, were installed in the new building, with a total of 64 students.
  • The construction works of the Elementary School building finally came to a conclusion on September of 1993, when its north section was completed and inaugurated.
  • Dowal School opened its first section of High School -7th grade- on September of 1994. This new section was installed provisionally in the Elementary School building.
  • Dowal School graduated its first High School section on June 25th of 1999. Class of ‘99, integrated by 28 students, attended its Commencement Ceremony at Teatro El Milenio.
  • In 1996, the first section of the High School Building is completed and inaugurated, and three sections of 7th, 8th, and 9th grades respectively, were installed in the new building.
  • In 1997 , the second and last section of the High School Building is finally completed.
  • On January 19th of 2007, Dowal School became the first school in Tegucigalpa to have its own swimming facilities with the inauguration of two swimming pools dedicated exclusively to our trademarked swimming class.
  • Dowal School celebrated its 20th anniversary on April 10th of 2007.
