Mobile Library from UPNFM visits Dowal School
Last week we had some special visitors form the Universidad Pedagógica. Who would imagine a bus filled with books! We had our guests read to first, second and third grade students stories in Spanish followed by some activities like showing pictures about the story they just read, comprehension checks, and sequencing illustrations.
I asked students for their opinions:
First graders: "We like the story read to us, we had never heard it before, we can't wait for another visit like this!"
Second graders: "We loved the story, and what we liked best was to replay the story with the puppets ourselves. We want to do it again!"
Third graders: "We have never imagined a bus filled with books! Buses are for riding them not reading in them without moving, we liked the activity, we congratulate the university students for this effort. "
In my opinion, the activity was very successful. Next time it will be more fun!!
