High school Christmas
Amid joy and Christmas spirit, the high school celebration for the holiday season took place. The day began with a lively Christmas program. All the grades displayed their unique talent and unity as a class by performing an act for the rest of the student body and teachers.
Homeroom teachers, STUCO members, and artistic directors contributed to make this Christmas program a memorable event. Keeping with tradition, STUCO requested high-school students to donate certain products in order to assemble the food baskets given to our school maintenance and support staff.
STUCO members and seniors set up different activities for that special day: a Techno and a Reggaeton disco, a Karaoke lounge, and a high-tech video game room. Students had their pick of which activity they wanted to join in. Needless to say, the popularity of the discos was unprecedented.
A banquet was served for lunch and students shared experiences lived throughout the day. Our traditional count down symbolizing the end of the year brought students together with cheers, hugs, and best wishes.
May the happiness, unity, team work, and sense of family reign in our hearts throughout 2010 as it did on that day.
As the ceremony reached its closure, a mixture of emotions filled the air. Laughter and tears meshed for the journey ended, and the one about to begin.
